The CEO of Fortress REIT recently noted in a press release that logistics will play a significant role in the rebuilding of South Africa’s economy. To this end, the Fund’s investment in new logistics developments in KZN and Gauteng comes as no surprise and is evident of the foresight from the Fund to ensure solid return on investments to the benefit of shareholders and investors.
Of course, these new developments also benefit firms involved in logistics, imports, and warehouse operations as they have opportunities to move their operations to the exceptionally strategically located properties.
A closer look at two new developments provides insight as to why companies would want to rent space in these logistics parks.
The development has an address just north of the new interchange in Cornubia. It is located on the other side of the N2 freeway opposite the Gateway Precinct, making it one of the best located logistics developments to the north of Durban.
