Fortress Logistics Park Zabrze awarded construction permit

Fortress REIT Limited is proud to announce that the construction permit for Fortress Logistics Park Zabrze (acquired in March 2022) has been approved. Building will commence in Q3 of 2022 and the occupancy permit is expected to be received in Q1/Q2 2023.


This modern 14.9-hectare development, situated in the centre of Upper Silesia Conurbation in Poland, will offer a leasable area of up to 78,900m² of state-of-the-art logistics space.


Fortress Logistics Park Zabrze is a secure, accessible warehouse, logistics and production centre designed in accordance with the requirements of modern warehouse and logistics management and can be adapted according to client needs.


The Park is situated 11 km from the junction of A1 and A4 motorways, with the entry to the A1 motorway less than 5km. The Silesian Metropolis in Southern Poland is the most important industrial region in the country. Fortress Logistic Park Zabrze will be developed into a modern logistics hub within the Zabrze city limits, in the vicinity of the existing retail parks.

The layout includes a 45,000m2 paved surface and a 35,000m2 bioactive surface. This sustainable Park is aiming to be BREEAM certified on excellent level and will feature many eco solutions including photovoltaic installations and automatic energy consumption monitoring systems, LED lighting and electric car charging stations. Fortress offers green walls, which can be installed in the outdoor area as well as in the Tenant’s office space. Beehives and insect houses will be installed in the surrounding meadows. All of which is intended to allow tenants to enjoy the outdoor leisure areas during their lunch breaks.
